Leslie & Jutta at Limpopo River

After extensive traveling we came back in November 2025 to Eswatini to retire. Leslie is a specialist in restoring ornamental plastering in old buildings and worked for many years in Groningen / Nederland on old buildings.

Jutta lived in Eswatini for many years as the editor in chief for the publication ‘What’s Happening in Swaziland’.

Our goal is to show how incredible the Kingdom of Eswatini is and to promote tourism.

The Kingdom of Eswatini – a gem in the south-eastern part of Africa. Small, but packed with culture, beauty and friendly people. Old traditions carefully carried into our century, treasured and honoured, practise in daily life and not just for tourists. Respect and acceptance of other ways of living creates an atmosphere of easiness we hardly see in this world anymore.
Eswatini is blessed with a breath-taking complexity of nature. From the endless sugarcane fields in the south to the magnificent mountain in the north. Decorated with vast bushland and modern development along the way.
Visiting Eswatini will enrich your life and not only by seeing the sights, also meeting the locals (EmaSwati) and listening to the nature will present you with everlasting memories.
With this page and our blog, we hope to bring Eswatini closer to you, keep you in the loop and you will hear the call: “come and visit!”
